32 degrees in Toulouse yesterday afternoon. The land rover was choker of Miss F's worldly goods as we travelled to move her into her new apartment on the third floor without a lift. It was little warm carrying boxes and bags, even hotter for farmer J as he had to relocate her new fridge freezer into a tight cupboard (due to the delivery guys failing to do so). Said fridge was moved three times, once in not quiet enough due to plastic bits sticking out from the sides of the cupboard, secondly it would not go past bumps on the bottom of the cupboard and lastly as when opened all the shelves were on top of each other and as it was such a tight squeeze you could not get them out. It is now in and if needs to be moved again it will be a job for Florian when he returns from working the summer in Corsica.
It's a lovely apartment with an upstairs big bedroom and a balcony with an added bonus of two plant tubs attached to the outside. Only hope she manages to keep the basil, chives, parsley and chilli plant alive that i dug up from the garden ( and carried a bag of compost up those three flights of stairs). Close to the Patte d'Oie tube station (translated goose foot so she's keeping the farm theme going) with three stops to the centre of Toulouse and with shops close by it seems like a nice place to live if your a town mouse.
