After a few days of drizzly rain, a bit of sun and dry today the wild mushrooms have started to appear, ceps and the more lucrative penny buns, some saved for risotto tomorrow the rest sliced to be dried in the sunshine tomorrow (fingers crossed).
Hope you managed to get enough of them before the villages raided your fields....pity they were out when we were there could have had a couple on our BBQ; that is if we cud get the thing to burn properly @!
yes can't believe you call yourseves Aussies and can't operate a BBQ. I did find quiet a few even managed to dry some - will post some out to you - no truffels though.
